About the Role

As a Customer Service Representative at Smart Solar Group, you will be the friendly and knowledgeable voice that our customers interact with. From handling initial enquiries and booking consultations to supporting existing customers with post-installation queries, you will play a vital role in delivering the exceptional experience that sets us apart. This hybrid role offers flexibility with a mix of office and remote work.

Responsibilities

• Respond to phone, email, and web enquiries promptly and professionally
• Book consultations and manage appointment schedules
• Provide information about solar products, services, and promotions
• Support customers through the installation journey with proactive updates
• Handle post-installation support queries and warranty requests
• Update and maintain customer records in the CRM system
• Escalate complex technical issues to the appropriate team
• Collect and follow up on customer feedback and reviews

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year experience in customer service or a similar role
• Excellent phone manner and written communication skills
• Empathetic, patient, and genuinely helpful attitude
• Proficiency with CRM systems and Microsoft Office / Google Workspace
• Ability to multitask and manage competing priorities
• Problem-solving mindset with attention to detail
• Willingness to learn about solar energy products and services
• Reliable with a strong work ethic

Nice to Have

• Experience in the solar, energy, or home improvement industry
• Knowledge of solar systems and terminology
• Experience with phone systems and call centre software
• Bilingual abilities
